But there's more to this helmet than its stunning looks. A true concentrate of technology, the Skwal i3 Jet is the first production open face helmet to incorporate an intelligent LED lighting system. Called the Active LED System, it features three modes: fixed position lights, intelligent brake lights (automatically activated when slowing down) and flashing mode. The aim is to significantly increase your visibility, particularly when riding at night, in heavy traffic or in poor weather conditions.

In terms of construction, Shark has opted for a high-resistance polycarbonate shell, with a multi-density padding for optimum impact absorption. Ventilation, with two air inlets and two extractors, ensures fluid air circulation, ideal for summer riding or extended urban use. Interior comfort is optimized by ergonomically-adjusted foams, with ErgoFit for a precise fit and Easy Fit for eyeglass wearers.

The visor, of optical quality 1, is pre-equipped for Pinlock® 70, and benefits from an anti-scratches and anti-fog treatment. Care & Maintenance

To keep your Skwal i3 Jet Mekarium in optimum condition, clean the shell with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, without aggressive detergents. The inner foams are fully removable and can be washed by hand or machine (gentle program at 30°C).
