The SKWAL i3 is the world's first full-face helmet equipped with smart LED brake lights at the rear. A built-in triaxial accelerometer detects deceleration and automatically activates the brake light--without any wired connections or Bluetooth pairing to the motorcycle: the system operates completely independently, regardless of the motorcycle being ridden.

The helmet offers three lighting modes selectable via a switch on the left side: continuously lit position lights, brake lights only, or a combination of front LEDs and brake lights that flash when slowing down. The brightness of the brake light increases during harder braking, and the accelerometer puts the LEDs into standby mode after a prolonged period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

The SKWAL i3 features LEDs at the front, on the forehead and chin guard, as well as a rear brake light linked to an accelerometer. The brake light detects deceleration and flashes, with a faster flash rate during heavy braking. The system is activated by a long press on the switch located at the base of the helmet on the left side, then cycles through the three available modes with short presses. The internal battery recharges via a discreet USB-C port located at the nape of the neck, and battery life ranges from 6 to 20 hours depending on the selected mode.

Comfort and Ventilation

The "Best Fit" interior combines five technical fabrics for a long-lasting, second-skin feel; it is fully removable and washable.
