At Roof, designing original and innovative helmets has always been a priority. With its open face helmet "Bamboo Pure" approved according to the new ECE 22.06 standard, Roof created the first helmet made of natural bamboo and flax fibers. Or when originality and safety go green.
Used for centuries in Asia, natural fiber is known for its mechanical properties. Flexible and resistant at the same time, bamboo is a porous fiber that grows in abundance. Its use has no impact on deforestation, so the Bamboo helmet is well within the trend of sustainable development.
In order to obtain such a refined helmet, the fiber is braided into mats, dehydrated and preformed in molds, in several pieces that are then assembled with epoxy resin to form its shell. Each braiding being different, each Bamboo helmet is an exclusive piece.
The matt shell of the Bamboo helmet reveals the originality of its vegetable fiber. To emphasize the natural color of the bamboo, the helmet has a chestnut-colored leather cover, very elegant.
Also available in two black versions "Bamboo Black Glossy" and "Bamboo Black Mat", with a black shell and central bamboo weave, the Roof Bamboo open face helmet will seduce scooterists who are both concerned about the environment... and their look!
