Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 500 Ml

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a high-boiling synthetic brake fluid that exceeds SAE J1703, SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 DOT 4 , ISO 4925 and Jis K 2233 specification levels.

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 has been designed for use in all types of braking systems operating under the most severe conditions.

Formulated from a blend of polyalkylene glycol ether and borate esters, high-performance additives and inhibitors provide absolute protection against the effects of corrosion and the vapour locks that form at high temperatures.

This formula has been developed in such a way that the vapour lock formation temperature is higher than that reached by other conventional glycol ether-based brake fluids throughout the product's life.

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 is fully compatible with other fluids meeting FMVSS 116 DOT3 and DOT4 specifications. However, to preserve the maximum efficiency of Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 , it is preferable to avoid mixing with other fluids. All conventional brake fluids deteriorate with use.

NB : We strongly advise you to follow the manufacturer's recommendations on brake system draining frequency. In the absence of such information an oil change of the system every two years is desirable.

Directions for use :
As with all brake fluids containing glycol ethers, special care must be taken when handling brake fluids to avoid leaking onto body paintwork. Should this happen, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Do not wipe off.
