CONNECTION VIA BLUETOOTH TO THE MIDLAND 445 PMR RADIO
It is possible to connect the Bluetooth communication systems of the N-Com, X-Series and MULTI lines to the Midland 445 PMR radio and manage communication between the helmet and the radio via Bluetooth.

Use in intercom mode with the N-Com, X-Series and MULTI Bluetooth systems
To make the connection, pair up the Bluetooth system with the Midland 445 BT radio in the same way as any other Bluetooth device, following the instructions for pairing up the radio. When the pairing procedure is completed, the devices will automatically recognize each other and it will be possible to activate the conversation by pressing the PTT (Push To Talk) button supplied with the radio.
When Bluetooth communication with the Midland 445 BT radio is active, the intercom via Bluetooth with another helmet is temporarily suspended and will be automatically restored to the conversation with the PMR radio. You cannot connect your cell phone via Bluetooth if you are connected to the PMR radio.

Using the intercom mode with the N-Com Bluetooth system:
To make the connection, the N-Com Bluetooth system must be paired with the radio in Headset (HS) mode. The pairing procedure must also be carried out on the PMR radio, following the instructions for this device. When the pairing procedure is completed, the devices will automatically recognize each other and it will be possible to activate the conversation by pressing the PTT (Push To Talk) button supplied with the radio. When Bluetooth communication with the Midland 445 BT radio is activated, you will not be able to make a Bluetooth intercom conversation with your passenger or connect your cell phone via Bluetooth.

Intercom operation with the N-Com Intercom Kit and other wired configurations
When the connection with the passenger is established in wired mode, each time the Bluetooth conversation with the radio is activated, the intercom is temporarily interrupted.
