Part of the "Oscar by Alpinestars" collection, which draws on the Italian firm's 50 years of experience and echoes the 70s, during which the company was twice awarded the prestigious Oscar prize for Italian fashion and design in 1972 and 1973, it has a unique retro look that's very much on trend.

Made from supple, top-quality full-grain bovine leather 1 to 1.1 mm thick, hand-finished and treated using a traditional artisanal tanning method, it ensures a unique vintage look and style.
Perforated leather zones on the chest and sleeves provide effective ventilation. For added comfort, accordion-style leather inserts at the waist ensure a snug fit. And for unrestricted freedom of movement in the riding position, rear shoulder gussets.

As for shoulder and elbow protectors, they're top-quality, removable and CE-approved. If you'd like to complete your protection with a back protector, there's an interior back protector pocket, although the Nucleon KR-2i back protector is not supplied with the helmet but is available as an option from iCasque.co.uk.

All the jacket's details - trim, rivets and snap fasteners - are "Oscar"-style to further enhance its vintage look.
